Stupid crappy euro beta

Downloaded, patched, now I just get stuck at contacting authentication servers.

Friend has got in and he's ignoring my spamming of IM messages. Can't seem to get onto the microsoft games insider site either.

Sounds like the auth servers are being hammered or are having problems. This used to happen on the US beta every now and again and would then be OK a couple of hours later. Try pingplotter or something and see where it's dying.

It isnt getting to the auth servers now Gahh!!!

I cannot do a tracroute as I dont know the server names.

Good old microsoft.

Finally it works, dont know why I have not done anything.

And from the 6 hours I have been playing it is total shit, boring beyond belief, no atmosphere at all, soooo dissapointing

The US version is due out soon so I dont think this euro beta is much diffrent from the final release.

I had the same problems with the auth servers and my problems disappeared after replacing the auth server's hostmask with its ip in the ac2l.ini (its the gunserver, just get its ip)
