Stuck, Help!

Chapter 2 (I think), Spirit of the Wood. I've got the poison, and the antidote and I can twat the spirit into submission. It then just stands there.
What the hell am i supposed to do? I've tried killing the damn thing and everyone seems very pissed off about that. I've got 3 save games.

a) Before taking it on
b) After, its still alive but just standing there
c) Killed it

What the hell do I do? Nothing seems right.

Hmm from what I remember, you beat it into submission, it then chats to you about the antidote. Can't remember if it takes the antidote or if you're supposed to do something to the area behind it.. Was a while ago, sorry :|

Spirit of the Wood
This is a tough boss fight so prepare well and fight your best. He will surrender after losing about 200hp, and you can begin to converse.

At first the Spirit will be a little confused, but the second time you speak to it you can communicate that you are here to cure it. When you do so it will tell you the tale of the rune Relmar sought. Note to Evil chars: He will attack those who attempt to extort treasure from him, and if you kill him your alignment will shift even darker.

If you didn't kill him, the Spirit will send you back to your world. If you did, step through the portal behind him to be taken back to the Heart of the Forest. Report to Aawil to close the journal entry.

Of course, i'm tempted to beat the thing with a big stick. Took me ages to beat it and then it caused me all this grief (cos ahm stoopid)

Different location..

chapter 1, Docklands.
Trying to find the bosses, Callik and Vengaul. The walkthroughs say go to the basement of the inn, fight a few pirates, and talk to a girl for an amulet. I did this earlier, and no girl. [story of my life ]
I think it's because I went into the Silver Sails place before anything else. Is there any way I can carry on from here with this?
