Sorry, think this is UK only Suppose I shouldn't be shocked but child Thai Boxing with adult betting on the victors? My God, I know martial arts can be useful for young kids but at the extreme, it's pushing it a little far.

We have amateur children boxing here from very young ages, but yeah.

Thai fighters can make $250/month or more, and rack up hundreds of career fights.

Wouldn't you want to get into that sweet sweet money if it was 10x what most people in your village were making?

I don't agree with it myself, the way the kid says he takes what he's learnt to school and fights all the time really paints this whole idea badly. Their's no ref to stop anything in a school playground teachers are never around when a fight starts, it's all going to end in tears when one day one of these kids kills someone at school.
