noises are heard from my comp

its like the old rennis games peep...peep.peep.peep etc etc

Anyone knows how to fix that `?
running on p4 2.2 with geforce 4600 ti with newest drivers

Sounds like it is your motherboard-alarm for heat.

Open it up and see if it cools down abit

Check ur mother board manual.. it describes different alarm sounds and tells u what they mean.

Could be numerous things...heat problem is ofcourse one of the possibilities.

I have to agree with Aucard, probably the overheating alarm. I've had that on 2 different computers this summer due to the hot weather. Buy some cooling paste for your cpu fan, a stronger cpu fan or do what I did, open the cabinet and place a tabletop fan facing it
