Strange Happenings in Lyon today......

Hello there everyone, just wanted to keep people up to date (if not allready informed) of the strange creature spawned in lyon today.

Having just logged on after some work at around about 3-4 PM, there was a commotion in our /AS chat about some strange screams heard, and some foul creature screaming.
Pondering over the other broad-type messages heard in lyon of late (Lightening and morgana - the old tart) we were all very interested to hear new voices and sentences being herd.

Racing to C-Staion from Caer-Ulf we were then told of a massive ghostly beast killing people left right and centre in lyon.
Running from CS, many death messages of fellow albs were comming (along with distressed pleas for help over /AS ) and once i actually clamped eyes on the thing i was absolutely gob-smacked.

Think of those ghoulish floating creatures in DF, except a 40 foot version, with elctricity surrounding it.

Cant for the life in me remember the name of the bugger (was too busy tring to get people to help me kill it) but was, lets just say, abit strange, for 3:30 on hot summers day out in the country side!

Have taken many screenshots of it, but havent been able to upload the to my webspace as of yet.

Many of us died the first time arround (He dual hits for 450+ a time) but a good strong gathering took him/she/it down before it could reach CS.

Scouted in lyon for a long time after its death but couldnt find anything out of the ordinary.

Agreed it was perhaps the start of an event, but who knows

I was on my way out of lyon when I heard this weird blue texted message.
took a screenie of it but Im not sure sure how to upload a picture here

it was something about a man voice that echoed in lyon, something about come and collect your price.

I tought it was weird and asked the people at tree camp 1 if they heard it to and they didnt, and I was at dunters.

here is exactly what stood

a strong man voice can be heard in Lyonesse, echoing on the water and ruins of the area:"Raise, Seeker! Raise and search for the price. Seek the price, and bring it to me!"

then some mins later

a frightening echoes suddenly in the mist of Lyonesse


eeeummm I tought it migth have been some lv 50 epic or something, and if it is, im the biggest noob in alb

Was not an epic my friend, got used to the morgana shouts and the electric messages

Possibly leading up to something special i hope

It's actually a typo on GoA's part.

it should read "Raise, Seeker! Raise and search for the pie. Seek the pie, and bring it to me!

It all ties in with Gombur's epic quest for the Lost Pie of Albion

or more likely it's to do with the 50 lvl epics that all seem to end in lyonesse.... but i like the pie story best

name was "The First Seeker".

Someone in lyon summoned it to get something, we stopped it from gettin it. Considering the mob was aggro and actually undead, it is not a nice mob At least I consider everything undead as bad beeings and tend to try make them dead undeads. If we look back a little at our epics and other quests, Morgana have a tendency to be mixed up in pretty much everything, and we have that necromancer that was in Salis before... he seem to be gone. Can it be him that is the summoner?

Perhaps it is that yellow elf that summoned it to get something he needs for some hellish ritual that he want to perform? We never really finished the last event with Sloeman the Yellow or what his name was.

What have happened if we had let it get the prize... we dont know. Do we really wanna know? Perhaps if we let it reach this prize, can we can kill it and claim the prize for ourselves?

And if same person summons a Second Seeker, well, I am pretty sure it will be killed too, if it is possible to kill it. Many triggerhappy people roams Albion

whatever came out of that dead norseman that floated ashore in lyon btw? does anyone know?
