Strange: epic 50 bug

My journal says go slay the leader of the Cailleachs in Lyonesse.

So, me and five other guildies trudge down to Lyon, and kill Uragaig and all the Cailleachs.

Check journal and didn't get credit. How come ?

- Party member was last person to hit the named, not a pet
- The only requisite was to kill named, not pick any items up or drop off
- There was 6 of us all in same group

Any ideas ?

(p.s. is defeating all the Cailleachs with just 6 ppl a first ?)

There was a time when you had to kill her between all the pillars but i dont know for sure if it is still a MUST DO thing, and no you werent the first with 6 people but good job for sure.

She needs to be killed inbetween the pillars where she pops.. if you are outside it, no credit, or at least thats how it has always been.

nah you can kill her outside the pillars- she's tethered so she won't go far from them though.

Definitely on the step in your journal that says to kill her?

Were you using charmed pets or confuse? if a charmed pet loses charm and does a significant amount of damage it'll stop you getting credit for the kill and therefore lose you loot/quest progression/etc. same with confused monsters.

Yep, journal says locate the Cailleach Uragaig and slay her (or something like that). There were 6 in the group including a necro. There was a pet but it didn't get the last hit in (we checked the battle log). Gonna re-try later in the week...hope it works this time...odd...

Think it might have been Lesser Telemon but not 100% sure
Blue or Yellow con

Was certainly dealing out dmg

hmm odd - wouldn't have expected it to resist many pulses and create problems.

I blame gremlins for this one
