Was referring to that they can use enemy gatekeepers...

Not the relic ones, but normal keep ones.

if i read it correct its sort off an instant die button though . As your pet dies while your ported and then your in a keep with xx gaurds being able to hit you . But i might be wrong there

No, your pet dies when you get a certain (fairly short) distance away from it.
