And the gearstick should be in the middle not on the handlebars, how else can you castrate yourself when you bump into something and slide forward ?

We were never rich enough to have a chopper*sob* the first coolish bike i had was a grifter, remember the gear shift type thingy with the red, blue and yellow gear things, red was a bastard.

I had one of those too, purple bastard. Handle bars snapped at the yolk when I was doing leet wheelies and as I fell forward with the handle bars in my hands the jagged spike that was left came dangerously close to ripping open my scote.

Aaah a nostalgia thread, always seemed to miss out lon the cool bikes *sniff* seem to remember my mates Grifter being a nightmare to pedal up hill though.

my 'lil bro had a grifter, didn't they have a "pedal backwards" rear brake, weird.

I had one of them bikes as a child, the pedal backwards to stop brake system. I think I lost count of the amount of near death experiences I had growing up and playing on my bike. It wasnt a gentle slow down before you stop it was a full blown STOP. Chipped half a tooth because of that damn thing.

After my copper and as I got bigger I moved to a Raliegh Grifter and they ruled :)

am so happy with my own bike.......leaky tires, brakes aint working good...lol one is broken off, lock that works half :D
