Just had an email from ebuyer.com saying that they're selling 128MB PC133 SDRAM for £22.01 including VAT, for a short time only. Doesn't say whetehr it's CAS 2 or CAS 3, but there is a customer service phone number posted on the homepage...

To me this is a stooooopid price and I'm already regretting buying mine from Crucial for £35 a month ago.

The prices for the standard DRAM memory modules have started to get very low (probably a glut on the market, and the onset of DDR and the stupidly costly Rambus RIMM), though it still sound a bit low.

I got 128mb ram + installation for £60 today. I know it's a bit of a rip off but it was well worth it, cos it is a laptop and i don't know how to fit it, and now i can play games in 800x600!

RAM really isn't that hard to fit. You merely slot it in the right place.

Laptop RAM tends to be slot fitted, which doesn't make it any more difficult to fit really, it's just that most laptop cases are not designed to be easy to remove + refit given taht most laptop users never do so, unlike for desktops...I'd definitley think twice beforefitting Laptop memory myself !

I get my ram from ukram.com

the ram there is very cheap you can get 64mb dimm ram 733mhz or slower for £24.99, the site has loads of other things for sale,
