Still having config probs

I have uninstalled Q3 about 3 times and re-installed it putting on the latest Q3 patch and the latest Ra3 patch. But my config will still not save, I cannot go above 640x480 because it goes back to this setting after it restets the video display. I cannot use any other colour depth, i cannot use HIGH sound quality. Its only happening in Ra3, Q3 is fine.

Can someone plz help me, i cannot play my fav mod!
If someone could put together a quick autoexec.cfg for me with the cmds i need i can fill in the rest. Please!!
