No offence ... well done on the forum clustering etc

BUT

Isn't stickies for raids pretty much what these boards are about? ... I know I just read these realm specific boards for the stickies so I can easily see what raids I might want to go on.

Not sure if this is the best option will raids be stickied again in the future or is this a permenant solution?

There have been times when the Hib forum has been washed with stickies - but it can be made cleaner by editing the titles to be short and to the point.

People like to glance at the forum to see what raids are planned, having to trawl through one thread looking at every post to find a raid is never going to work.

Poor albs.

Edit: To be a bit more constructive, my friend (and surfer of these forums occasionaly) took over a vB project - we use it on our guild forums and I have to say its damn good. You nominate a forum ID, when posts are made in that forum you are asked for a start/end time and time zone - that post is then automaticaly added to a specified Calendar. Makes tracking events and raids VERY easy - you can also highlight the next 5 raids comming up at the very top of the forum. Can get more info if you are interested.

Agree with Shanaia. I'd rather see a sticky for each BG raid. Having all the raids in a single thread feels useless, its easier for people to see one line summaries for people to see as sticky threads.

Remove all 6 current sticky threads. I really don't see the rvr tactics as so important that it must be sticky for every visit, same goes with the Catacombs guide. The #albion.exp and private forums announcements have also been there long enough.

Sticky all free for all battlegroup raid threads, one per person. Don't bother with signup raids or group raids. Only sticky threads with a specific date and time in them.

unfortunatly this is why it wont work, because this thread is just gonna be spammed with non related information/opinions, im sure the posts were deleted because the mod is trying to keep the clutter down.

PS An events calendar just for Alb ML's/DR/Sidi is a great idea imo

And flaming the mods will help how exactly?

I was just trying to make a point and ask if this was temporary of permanent. See I don't think 18 stickied threads is that bad .. just means there is a lot of raids .. who will now suffer greatly as they get less people show up to them because people simply don't know they're there because the way they were displayed changed :(

I wasent flaming the mod.. I was just saying that a few others already had this pointed out.. and aye I agree with you shanaia.. i'd deffently update the sticky thread... and tbh.. I think the idea where you have to link your raid.. well its not as viewable as a stickie.. just my 50 cents

right, moved this to here since it was basically making the raid thread unusable :p

I've asked about a raids forum since with 18 sticky threads you cannot see anything else in the albion forum, e.g. discussions. There used to be those here you know ;)

in the mean time since you all wub my raids thread so much I'm going to stick some of the raids - only bg stuff and only reasonably soon (e.g. within the next week or so)

Can you unsticky my group steps, please ! (Thanks for the others!)

There are a couple of other raids (not mine) that don't give dates in titles that could do with stickiness.

Why not a sub-forum for raids?
Then if you were looking for raids you could click there (which would of course have an Alb/Hib/Mid section).
Would sort most problems as Raid leaders will just have to post a thread in there and it doesn't have to be sticky'ed again by a mod.

no date in title = no sticky.

kinda removes the whole "browse the forum to get the raids" if there's no date or time.

unstuck the group one - think I was half asleep :p
