Bernie Ecclestone is a twat, pure and simple. He gets to Silverstone a bit late, so he dribbles on in the national press about what a farce he thought it was. Muppet.

To be fair - Bernie's got a vested interest (owning other racecourses in the UK - it'd be nice for him to get the venue moved to his track....)

But - to be honest - I think he's just trying to put pressure on the government to stump up some cash...

It's good to see so many team heads backing Silverstone + Octagan / dissin' Ecclestone now too. If he'd used the roads instead of going cross country in him 'borrowed' 4x4 he would have got in alot quicker.

The traffic problems gone, the parking/roads at the track improved, the race the best this season (IMHO) and I was back home in 30 mins (as opposed to 3+ hours last year)

Roll on the Breakaway, especially if the teams get more cash rather than it fill Bernie's pockets...
