At the end of the Man U game last night I found myself flicking through the channels and ended up being channel 5's sole viewer. The show was called 'Extraodinary People' (i think) and although I have seen the typical adverts for 'The Woman with no face' or 'The man with a tunnel for a nose' ... (Deebs why didnt you tell us you were making it onto the big screen???!!) I was amazed to find a show dedicated to Steven Wiltshire.
This chap is a legend.
I had read an article on him a little while ago but was astounded to see him at work. The guy has overcome autism to be able to interact socially, something some of FH forumites seem to have issues with, and is probably one of the worlds most influencial artists. To see him draw the panoramic view of london was mind blowing. I seriously urge people to take a look at The Stephen Wiltshire Gallery - Error and some of his YouTube videos. Everything he does is drawn from memory only and his attention to detail is simply amazing.
