The latest update to the Steam Client does not contain any game changes, but includes fixes to speed up the client.
Update:
+ Improved startup time for the Steam client
+ Added the ability to retrieve account names using a CD key or contact email address (by using the "Retrieve Account" button on Steam's login dialog
+ Added user's Steam account name to the initial "Loading..." dialog
These will be downloaded once you start the Steam Client.
