They are also gonna fuck around with the recommendations. Most likely we'll see something similar to how youtube does it which will be of no help to me as they have yet been able to recommend me a single video or channel that i wanted to check out..

Very interesting tbh. Recommender algorithms are damn hard to get right, and relying on people often results in scams. I'm very curious as to what they intend to show.

Valve is probably gonna do something a lot of publishers don't like and will in a desperate attempt at pleasing everyone make it worse then ever.

So far their changes havent been too bad, the sale changes for example seem to have created a situation where titles get less one day spikes but over course of entire sale more units are sold (with more monies overall)

Would be nice if cheap, good quality indi games where more obvious. Other than that, Steam is just fine.
