Do you think that it is worth me, as a minstrel, to put points into stealth bearing in mind that all the bounuses from stealth are for assins only???

I was wondering as I am at that point in my career that I should if I need to add points???

i havent played a minstrel my self but i wouldnt put points in stealth untill you start having points left over after specing in what ever you spec in, or if you dont have any points left over then i dont know

You shouldn't need stealth until higher levels, when you go for RvR.

But, considering assasin classes will be able to uncover you from a fair distance in later patches, putting any points into stealth at all is questionable.


If you want to scout in RvR, you might want to add a little stealth, but if you'll be melee'ing and running around visiably most of the time, stealth will be useless for you. Your best bet is to ask some high level Minstrels how often they use stealth in RvR.

(thinking about what the game will be by the time you're at rvr level rather than what it is now)

You get that for free...

If you want to move at any speed whatsoever whilst stealthed though you'll need some points in it.

Myself I'd not put too much in it - I'd go for the 'left over' points in stealth or something. But I'm not everyone.

Stealth is all but essential for RvR IMO. I'm planning for 39 stealth at level 50 (though I may respec that after 1.50 assuming I'm even still playing minstrel then). Not worth getting any stealth till level 30-35 though.
