Stealth Vs. Envenom

Ok ... I'm truly bored at work so I'm reading alot of guides about the infamous critblade ... One thing bugs me though... I dont want to use stinking envenom since that is not part of the character I want her to be, so where to put the extra points ?
Stealth of course... BUT ... That autotraining thingy, how does that work if I spec in stealth also myself ? Will I just get an extra point in stealth @ lvl 10 or will I loose the xtra point that autotrain would have given me? And will she be viable in rvr (BG mostly) ¿¿¿

Suggestions comments very welcome

Make it high Stealth high cs high L axe medium weapon, then you can use your slow 2h for a large PA chain then switch to L axe for some ownage zerker style :)

And to all the doubters there yes L axe does indeed "R0x0r"

Autotraining

From what I can remember - you must NOT train in stealth at all if you want this to auto train. Every 4 levels - you get 1 level of Stealth I think.

So basically you could get to level 48 and have Stealth 12 or something.

Thing is - it's a pain if you are trying to attack some mobs and you keep getting unstealthed due to your low stealth. I autotrained a bit then gave up :)

It does save you 1 spec point if you take it quite far - that you can use which is kind of helpful if you want to make a slight difference to your SB.

Just to Add - A critblade is how I wanted to be to start, something like 50 AXE 50 CS 34Stealth (Can't remember the exact numbers), but as time went by - people were saying that you need to use poison to help with the killing - otherwise you'll only be able to kill casters (?) - so I thought ok - I'll change it a bit.

44AXE 44CS 34Stealth 30something Envenom. Then I got told - if you want to be of some use and be able to kill other assassins, you definitely need Left Axe. ARGH.

So my final Template is going to look something like 34AXE 39CS 39Left Axe 34Stealth 30 Envenom I think.

An all-rounder. I wish I could have stuck to just the crit-blade, but to be more versatile - I'd suggest spreading your points a bit more - but that's just my opinion. Saying that - it must be uber hitting someone with the biggest Perforate Artery 50CS 50AXE Stylee :p

5spec; 34cs 34axe (sword) 35stealth 35enven 39LA
Soulblade ; 39cs 39axe 35stealth 23enven 39LA
Critblade ; 44cs 44sword 35stealth 35enven
shadow zerk ; 44LA 44Axe 35stealh 35enven

u can do small twists, but these are excellent and working specs

all these templates are without autotrain
if you autotrain you might get one 45ish skill 1 point higher so it really isnt worth being useless for 48 levels for imo ;)

my personal spec is rather bad i think, but to my suprise it has worked amazingly well when all item and rr bonuses are counted in : 50cs 40sword 35stealh 32enven (guess my bonuses ;p)
-yes i hit extremly hard PA's
-yes i lie when i say i kill many infils (only if i get in PA i win)
-yes i have fun chewing up minstrels

enjoy
cheers ;)

I have a critblade in Bg atm and i think it rocks.
My spec with bonuses is something like Sword 19+5, Stealth 21+5, Crit 22+2, Envenom 5.
And i'm often 1-hit killing yellow casters and bowmen with PA. Only using minor imbalancing poison (lev4 i think), to keep my prey from getting away when PA fails ;)

Have only lost 2 times in 1 on 1 against other stealthers, so it's a rare experience. Conclusion is, critblade rocks in Thid.
How it is later on i have no idea about, sounds like it get worse though.
