Stealth bug...

I'm pretty pissed rightnow at not being able to stealth and nice little Revminster (who I absolutely promise is gona die for this) was able to shoot me freely.. all i got was Too close to enemy to hide - now thats running around the whole of the amgE to silo bit at skald speed serrounded by my realm members.. I just could could'nt stealth making me a damn easy target.

Is this just me getting this shitty bug or any more stealthers got this problem?

Im pretty sure I read on ign boards that its a bug releated to truesight... So if some archer has truesight popped you cant stealth if in truesight range.

you simply can't stealth for the duration a player has true sight active. xest did the same to my old shadowblade, (but i evaded the crit-shot and managed to survive that time)

Nah thats no bug, they are testing the new patch thingy, didnt you know that were going to nerf SBs ?
I heard they lose stealth and all, pretty shitty class after 1.52, I suggest you delete your chars and move to Albion

Correct. If someone has truesight active then you can't stealth

*if you are in line of sight*.

The bug here is that it doesn't actually work like that, you can be out of line of sight (below a keep climbing point while the truesight archer is inside the keep for example) and so long as the archer is looking in your direction, regardless of actual visual ability, you will be unable to stealth.

Which kinda sucks.

Only thing that can be done is vanish. Which does work. Although it doesn't purge their truesight so you have to wait a minute otherwise they'll just see you again and regank you.

Oh yeah sb's don't get vanish... Still don't moan about it. It's bugged to hell and back and is a flagrant waste of 10 realm skill points, I asked GOA to reset my realm abilities so I could spec out of it (used both respecs) and they said no. Bastards.

Aye Vanish does have many bugs or draw backs to it
Like haveing to time it right cus if you do it b4 an enemys attack cue is empty which can be a few seconds (a long time in a battle) they will still hit you and you wont do a thing.
The fact that just as before pets still find you after you vanish, even if i gave no aggro to them or their owner.

The only real reason why ppl keep vanish is so that they can try and double PA once every 30 min. A tactic that im sure DAOC never thought of or want to be there, and would probably be trying to remove right now if it didnt involve screwing around with the whole stealthing structure

As for the true sight thing, yes it is annoying and i hope they fix it. The ability is surpost give that 1 person the privalege of seeing all stealthers not every one on the battle field by preventing you from stealthing....if they want that bonus they should pay for it

Vanish works 3 times in 10. Or if someone sets a pet on you, it doesn't work at all because pet<>stealth is still bugged. Not good enough for 10 points.

That "dual PA" is really nasty, plz dont use it on me
