So any update on league status? maps being played,.. what first map is, how long itll be before league starts, player limit ( i assume is 14), Days to play on, league points system?

(hopes ya goes for playoff rather than cap difference win, as cap difference system is screwed, plus with playoff ya dont have to worry about how many caps to award for default wins as caps wont matter only wins, losses or draws.)

Oh is BW fun cup being used as a ranking system? i was under the impression it was only for fun?

a reminder to the BW admins....Blooded Yautja pulled out of the funcup coz it wasnt CTF only. We do intend in competing in the league

so dont try excluding us

Although inactive as admin at the minute I have to comment here and give you some info.

The BW Fun Cup is exactly that - a fun cup which the admins decided to run as a precursor to the league. We didn't launch into the league as it was felt T2 still had far too many issues which (fingers crossed) seem to be have dealt with in the main.

What shaz meant about "weeding out no shows" is exactly that - getting to know which of the teams who signed up are reliable, can field a full team etc etc. Loads of teams signed up and then bailed out - this doesn't mean that they and any clan that did not enter the fun cup cannot enter the league. What the cup has done is give us admins a chance to see how certain new teams play - so if they want to play in the league we have a better idea of their skill etc and what division to put them in once the league is about to start. This is NOT a ranking system, its just common sense and not a rigid straitjacket for division seeding. If one clan went out in the first round it doesn't matter - for example they might have played vs TsK (one of the best in Europe) and shown they worked hard, could co-ordinate etc, despite the score.

Anyway the cup has indeed been fun and soon one team are going to have their own server courtesy of BW for beating off all the other opposition. Good luck to the teams left in...(enters non-biased mode honest) especially HH
