Starting Drops group

Would ideally like to get a good drops group going for Cursed Forest etc. Most of the mobs will only require 1 group so thats what i'm forming initially. So far the group consists of me and a Mana 'Chanter so we need:

Main Tank
Main Tank
Warden
Druid
Bard
Second Warden/Second Nuker

I'm going to be harsh and set the bar for the group at 48 for non-tanks and 50 for tanks - not being elitist but some of those mobs are very very tough and <48 is a bit of a risk to the group. I'm sure i dont need to remind everyone what Orey can and does do to a fins group on a regular basis - and he's not the toughest either.....

One point i'm sure to get asked - nobody will be 'claiming' drops but if something does drop and you cant use or it another class in the group can use it better than you it's only fair they get it. Alts/Friends etc come after the people in the group.

Not diverting much - if any from the above classes so it's on a first-come first served basis.

Looking to do this on the coming Sunday/Wednesday around 6-8PM. Stick your names up if interested along with class and level.

Can't get on till about 6:30-7pm on sundays tho as i work the day. Damn i hate bein a poor student

Lol apologies if my post was unclear - think i did say Sun/Wed 6-8PM start in caille though.
Also the mobs will be epic level ones - such as Orey, Blight etc etc - you all know - the rather unpleasent ones with of purply purply death to 50's. (Oops not selling this very well am i?)

Heheh - basically - dont come expecting much xp (deaths can and will happen - only thing to do is res and get on with it) - it's about the challenge of it and getting those drops - all drops from the Epic level mobs are level 50 kit so it's all nice stuff - and also quite rare as few people can be arsed to build a group to kill mobs that tough.

Any further questions stick em up.

Lets be aiming to make 1fg provisionally - we can always expand it to 2fg if we find some of the mobs are too tough - but i've done most of them at least once with 1fg (takes some sharp play and judicous use of mana by the healers though).

Ignore that last post - i've just done some double checking on mob levels after talking to a friend - we WILL make it 2fg now - to make them easily farmable if nothing else!

Here are some mob levels just so you know what we're dealing with:

Juggernaut 75 - 75
Orey 73 - 73
Uafas Capall 72 - 72
Wyvernic Wraith 74 - 74
Fomorian Gleener 61 - 62
Blight 70 - 70
Skeaghshee 71 - 71
Flame 64 - 79
Cursed Leprechaun 63 - 63

Those are all the ones i can find offhand - if anyone has any mobs i've missed please feel free to post em with level(CF only) to add - mobs of purply purply death only though - although we may hunt slightly lower 'filler' mobs to pass the time if we somehow (wow) manage to wipeout all the high level mobs.

Had a few people PM me in game with questions - firstly as i said above - nobody is claiming drops - loot will be distributed as fairly as possible. Secondly deaths WILL happen against mobs of this kind of level - some people saying "Want to come but dont want to lose xp".
Finally: These groups will be drop hunting for the evening - not for an hour of half an hour - no good saying you'll come if you're only on for a short while.

Ok - that aside was thinking of having a trial run tommorrow - will post up a time depending on how many more names i see by about 6pm (GMT) this evening.

Something else i'd advise all group members to do - bring 3 Healing Crystals and 1 end Crystal (from TNN BP vendors) if a tank, 1 Healing Crystal and 3 Mana Crystals (from TNN BP vendors again) if a healer/mage.
They can and do save lives and i'm sure most people have plenty of spare BP's.

Basically it's for if the groups hit trouble - so someone can taunt off you and you can heal up a bit if a tank, or the mage/healer can refill his mana once in an emergency in addition to MCL etc.

Ok - 7PM sunday (tommorrow) - is when we give it an initial crack. Not enough names here to set up groups now so we'll do it ad-hoc on the day. Hope to see you all then.

Check the above info in this thread - we're still tanks and druids short here so we need some more. Better too many and have to make a 3rd group then too few imo :) Bear in mind the more people tackling these mobs the faster they die and the more drops we get to share around (sure more people bit it evens out).

Lastly if you dont get a drop - dont be dissapointed - it'll pay off in the end (i personally arent expecting to get much if anything - i'm doing it more for a challenge and a laff).

Orey and uffas can be done with 1fg, just make sure the healers stand back far enough.

2 wardens is highly recommened for orey and uffas is immune to something I think.

Oh and of late three of the mobs (uffas, jug and wyvern) have been lurking very close to one another :/

You can have all the spare BPs you like, but you are limited to the number of bounty items you can carry .... I believe it's 1 per RR, i.e. R2L9 you can carry 2 bounty items.

Well autrakis mate, thanks for the effort, but we did not have enough peeps to get started.

Do not worry, i already talked to some guildies and they should be available for next wednesday.

So from AK we should be 1druid, 1hero, 1bm, 1champ, and 2 or 3 mages.

Hope that makes it better for next time mate.

Just do not give up. Good ideas need support and you surely have mine.

Cheers for the support guys - however - houston we have a problem. Looks like i may not be able to do these drops groups tommorrow - if i'm not on by 7PM then i wont be on until quite late - if at all.

Sorry guys this was unforseen - not only is it patch day but i've been asked to start my job tommorrow (a week earlier than i was origionally told). I'll do my best to be there but if i dont get in until 1830 or later then i have to download the patch on a 56k.....You get my drift. :(

Deygos is more than capable of running them in my stead however, (should we get a good turnout) so if we get people showing go for it :)

Hope to seen you all in game tommorrow - if not - happy hunting guys. Once again my apologies to all involved.
