StarCraft2 issues tonight.

Hey there,

I can't seem to loggin to the battlenet, anyone else experiencing the same problem? Maybe it has something to do with the WoW release?

If someone got any information on this, then you are most welcome to share with me. Getting quite annoying now, since I want to play !

Seems my brother is online, but a couple of other friends also had the same problem.

Battlenet servers are being flooded by people trying to activate their Cataclysm key, they've taken down the forums so far to try help cope with the pressure but I don't think it's going to help at all.

You'll just have to wait it out

Cataclysm goes live in 45 mins...the blizzard servers will be taking one hell of a hammering.

Bah... why can't they run their games on separate servers Atleast have some backup plan, when they know a couple million people will install the new WoW expansion tonight......

As Helme and Raven said, cataclysm launches tonight. Blizzard decided to get the servers all loaded up in advance this time, instead of bringing them down on launch day. The result is that, instead of everyone activating while the servers are down, they're all rushing to activate as soon as the switch is flicked. All this, just so they can try to have the first level 85 on their server...
The switch should be flicked at midnight, but there's obviously quite a few hopeful that it will be that bit sooner.
