Yesterday, i read an article about a girl who killed herself. The police statement told me that the reason behind it, was because of the fact that she couldn't the PlayStation game Bomberman. This is insane! Again they blame the gaming industry!
Now, it is time to show the world that it is enough! Follow this link and sign the petition, to show the world they pushed it too far!

I hope authorities will ban violent games worldwide so that I can be the rebel leader!

Violent games will only fall under the thumb of the censor when they become indistinguishable from television images. Of course, if somebody released a game featuring points for raping women, and bonuses for glassing policemen in the face, I think this would happen sooner than later.

You hear the same cries over the same subject. Remember the Bulger killers, and the outcry when it was discovered that they 'might' have watched the Chucky video? Violent images on TV or computers certainly might desensitise certain people, but in my opinion these people were almost certainly unbalanced anyway.

Anyway, if I released a violent game that was subject to censorship, I'd just 'leak' a patch out on the net, that restored the offending material.

One more thing - how would you enfore censorship? Some countries wouldn't be subject to the same laws, you could just get the game from there.

Load of bollocks, that online petition site is an utter utter load of bollocks.

People just sign it for the sake of it, or fake it, or dupe on it, and they are always over stupid subjects.
