Having run RvR at as many opportunities as I can I can honestly say it has been far more fun than originally expected at lower lvs. Ive read the comments of others for their pros and cons of them but you have to admit as its something you can take or leave it really is up to the individual.
The best one I had was yesterday. Running in the Elven first RvR it proved to be the toughest (I guess for someone at lvl2 it would be). What made it really good fun was despite the fact that there were many high lvls in there (well up to 10 in this case) it was a complete stalemate. The event ended with a score of 128 - 128. It was a hard fought fun battle. I hope to see many others like it instead of the sometimes complete walk over by one side or the other.
Oh this was on the roleplay server - cant remember what its called but it begins with a B (blush).
