I quite fancy getting this staff for my bonedancer but after reading VOS it sounds like a bit of a nightmare to get. Just wondering if anyone has a raid on it planned (so I can get encounter credit) or has already done the encounter and has any tips for me :worthy:

K once I know Fiver/Aka are online I'll PM those that post as interested and we can go give it a try later on today hopefully. Will lotto for the staff and any drops so it's fair to everyone that attends. If all goes well we can check the spot straight away afterwards for repop

Ohwell why not.. The staff is down in the ocean with ~40/50 orange sharks around it aye? - I myself got me a stopwatch, timed ~5 times how long it took me to actually teleport with the ml6 sojourner ability. This should vary, depending on how much (qui? dex? :x) you got.. I came at about 17 seconds casting before I ported..

Swam to the staff encounter, took a guildy healer along with me cos' it was for him - starting casting, started stopwatch .. grabbed the staff at about 16.5 seconds, ported - was in stygia, went to oceanus hesperos lemon tree island, stealthed on, plucked on of the lemon ( click tree few times ) /use it a few times and tada, staff is urs..

Oh btw, a resser near could be usefull, if u grab the staff too early you'll be sharkfood in ~3/4 seconds

Its a pain in the ass to level though and traldor's is by far a better staff.
