Just curious what peoples thoughts are on this

Should squatters rights extend to people who are technically not UK residents?

Boiled my blood a little bit hearing someone of that age had been forced out of their home due to people gaming the system

Sounds like bollocks. Squatting in residential property has been illegal for ages. Its not illegal in non-residential buildings though.

Trying to understand this, I've been studying high court law pertaining to bailiffs for the last 4 years or so on and off (somewhat training to be a high court officer). I'm Legitimately curious why you think everyone should have equal rights.

Blood has been going on about foreigners for a while now, I have my own theory why but I suspect it might be fairer if I don't share in order not to upset people.

The equal rights argument can only really exist in theory. If I find a squatter in my property they're getting the bite the curb treatment regardless of whether they're black, white or asian. If they want more rights then they are free to work for them.

I didn't want to publicly offend him as it might have an adverse reaction like one does when in a public forum, so it meant that the conversation could continue at the point at hand, which it did.

So without that part -

I won't give you his responses but I said that blaming immigrants for everything isn't productive and wealth inequality is the issue at hand and it's the people benefitting from wealth inequality that are pushing shit that doesn't reflect reality.

So I told him to watch some Gary Stevenson videos.

As for the whole equal rights thing, I'm not sure how to answer it because it's rather obvious, are you trying to bait me into something?
