Those first hints of heatwaves are starting to hit (as I'm typing this I'm sunburnt and resemble a lobster :/).

Post any summery photos that you've taken recently, captured this shot on Friday.

My summer pictures would be no way as good as that, firstly because there isn't anywhere nice like that, and secondly because my camera is shite. I'll give it a go tomorrow though :)

What film did you shoot that on Nos? Its a lovely picture. Saying that, would it not be possible to rotate the angle slightly and lose that green blob in the back?

No film was used at all, that was done as a RAW capture on my S5000. Then did a bit of RAW manipulation in Photoshop CS to get the colours just right :)

I've not had the camera 6 months yet, and already you can buy one for £190 :/

(Had to adjust the noise levels in Neat Image to produce the final product as well, camera is hella noisy if you don't shoot in jpg)

Ahh right, there was no info in the file properties, thats all.

If its not too far away, go back there when the sun is lower on the horizon, and almost behind that flower. It would be interesting to see how well it looks when backlit. Take along a piece of white card, to fill the petals in the foreground :)

Probably a hill. Nice pic that Nath, where was it taken?

Quite tempted to invest in a nice new cam soon but not sure if I'll have an extreme beasty like yours :)

The green blob is the top of a distant tree, the photo was taken in a roadside field along the A34 heading towards Stafford.

Looked out my window as I drove past and saw this sea of yellow so had to take a pic :)

Well, I might be linched for this, but I do like a bit of hillwalking. Took my camera last time I was out, and I got a few snaps that I really, really like.

I'm not much of a photo-buff, these were just my digital camera, and me pressing the button.

They are rather large, I'm gonna change the settings on the ol' cam to sort that out for future piccies.

Anyway, I won't IMG them here, I'll just give you the links.

In the woods

Foxglove...
The burn.
On top of the world.

These were my better ones, I hope you enjoy :)

Check out photography monthly this issue there is a similar picture with more vibrant colours in there. Very nice indeed though.
