Saw it today - managed to find a cinema playing it with subtitles (why is there a need to do a version with american voice-overs I ask you?) - what a fantastic film ...

... was in such a good mood afterwards I even managed to restrain myself fron chinning the twat in front of me trying to show off to his girlfriend by saying '... it was a good fairy tale ... but of course this wasn't proper Manga because those sorts of films are all full of action ...'

Just saw this one aswell but with the voice-overs - I think I can answer why they do it, I took my 5 year old sister to see it and I think she may have had some problems keeping up with the subtitles :)

Great film by the way, higly recommended if you can find a cinema playing it.
