How do I know what the lowest quality gem I should use is?

For example, if I am gonna imbue as the config below:

Imbue Points: 32.5 of 28 (99% Qual) Overcharge: 50%
Gem 1: 2 Envenom - 99% uncut Dusty Battle Jewel
Gem 2: 4 Stealth - 99% flawed Airy Battle Jewel
Gem 3: 19 Strength - 99% faceted Firey Essence Jewel
Gem 4: 9 Slash Resist - 99% polished Watery Shielding Jewel
Utility: 60.6666679382324


It sais overcharge 50%, what does that meen? My chance of success?
If I change all gems qualityfrom 99% to 94% the Orverchage goes from 50% to 18%.

So, as asked. How do I know what quality I need minmum to succeed?

The overcharge % quoted on the Spellcraft calculator is the chance of success.

Therefore 50% has a better chance than 18% . On a lvl 51 99% quality item a 32.5/28 , giving 50% chance of success is very common. However it does require 99% quality gems.
