SpellCrafting: Gems to work on

Wich gems are the fastest way to do to gain pts and succeed?
I am at 450 SC and having about 20 fails at once (had 50 failiure in a row once) or more until I get gain, and a lot of succeed on doing gems without pts...

Any advises on wich gems to work on?

I.e tailoring, where u do gloves and etc. Those are easiest to gain on...

The sweetspot for the most gains/hour seems to be at low oranges. Gems that require a skill no more than 10(preferably 5-7) points higher than your present skill should give the fastest rises.
Even then you'll get pwned by the randomgenerator at times.

Yeah try what Danita said, it was what I was going to suggest too But after 500 expect lots of failures and lots of making stuff and gaining no skill for it. All part of the joys of crafting... Good luck

But I have seen one good thin about certain gems that give good gain. And that is Mystical Essence jewell.
