Hello all, well im having trouble trying to figure out the info on SC, i need somwhere or sombody to explain what SC is, like how to avoid blowing up gems and stuff like that, im finding it complicated it's nearly time to get my SC temp sorted, because most people i know have there SC temp ready at level 50 and just need to farm.
So if anybody has a nice website to read or if sombody has no time can you explain SC to me. Thanks

The best way to figure out a template is to use the Leladia's spellcraft calculator, found here:

http://theharms.org/daoc/sc-calc.php

Basically you have 4 slots on a crafted item where you can add stats, resists, skills and more. Each slot takes up an amount of imbue points, and the imbue points of the combined 4 slot must no be too high for the crafted item to hold them (if it is the item may blow up).

Its difficult to calculate how much you can add to an item, as it depends of several factors (eg. how high level gems you use, what level the crafted item is, what qualite the crafted item has, how much you want to overcharge, the level of the spellcrafter and more)

If you use the spellcraft calculator, it calculates all of this for you. Just start out by selecting what type and quality of crafted items you will be spellcrafting (default is the higest item with a quality of 99%. eg. dps 16.5 weapons or af102 armor)

The program can also hold the stats of your accessories (gem, rings, bracer, belt, cloak, neckie)

You can also try out this page:

Its an online spellcraft calcualtor
