Spell Crafting Question

Alchemist question

If I wanted a suit of chain armour with all body parts imbued with a spell, how would I get it done, if its possible, that is.

The spell I want is that Wizard spell, where "your armour becomes too hot to touch". I'd like it for when my cleric hits around level 20 ish.

Forgive my ignorance, I know zippo about spell crafting, hence my question. Thanks.

I think you can get damage shield procs on your armour, I am not 100% sure, it's an alchemist question really as they deal with all the procs and stuff, not the spellcrafters :)

Look here for the effects of tincures which alchemists can apply ...

http://www.midnightsojourn.com/effects.html

'Effects' are weapon procs.

'Charges' are, well, charges.

'Reactive Effects' are armour procs.

But you can't get anything other than DD reactive effects or charges on armour until level 47.

Even then, I'd council against putting damage shield procs on crafted gear, since the damage shield damage output is pitiful.

For a cleric, I'd recommend ablatives, DDs, or DoTs.

Also note that alchemists can only apply tinctures to player crafted armour.

An abltative puts up a shield that absorbs a certain number of points of melee damage before falling.

The best reactive proc absorbs 100 points of melee damage before falling.

It's a but like bladeturn, but instead of one hit it absorbs '100 points of damage'.
