Spell-caster

I play Thane on Excalibur/Midgard and wanna rest a bit from beating my enemies with hammer... So decidet to create Spell-caster twink on Prydwen.... Can some one please tell me, what are the best templates for diferent types of wizards/cabalists/Sorcerers and the staff with distingushing about nukers/mezzers/group-palyers and soloists...

P.S. I know I can find all this information on different sites, but I tried and was flooded by all kinds of different information, so was unable to find nessesary

Depends on the type of caster you want:

(Elementalist)

Wizard: Pure Nukers, spec in fire for good DD and AoE nukes, and in Ice for PBAoE nukes

Theurugist: These guys summon minions to do their bidding, which only last 30secs or so, but you can send in a gang of 5+. Earth spec gives you group pulsating bladeturn, which makes you popular. Air spec gives you good nukes.


(Mage)

Sorcerer: Can charm mobs the same level as themselves and below, aswell as mezzes and debuffs. Spec Body for nukes, or Mind for AoE mezzez and higher charm spells. Most templates use both specs.

Cabalist: Can summon a stone golem to help out, have good DoTs and AoE DoTs, debuffs and can transfer health in emergencies. Common specs are in Spirit and Matter.



Both Mage templates usually spec in two lines(as mentioned above), but the Elementalist classes pretty much max one line.

If you decide which class you want to play, you can start checking templates for that class in particular

I think i will go for Ice mage... he can root and I like cold in general Will it be a good strategy to keep Ice (or how its called) skill at max (to make it 50) and put rest in earth (will be 20)? Or any other templates are considered better?

U use hammer to bash enemies, then i must commend on the name which in russian means exactly the weapon you are using hehe

My Wizard is Mahotsukai (Siberian in future)
