Have you all noticed that site reporter and columnist 'Speccy' is hardly ever on the Q3 servers these days? There was a brief sighting of him on the tribes server recently, but it turned out to be a doppelganger.

I believe he's orf playing some RPG type thingy. This is not acceptable.

My frag average has dropped to an all time low since he abandoned us for Ashlyn's gall.

I now have to content myself with 'owning' the .E clan. Not much of a challenge you'll agree, but it get's almost interesting when we play 1 V 7.

Still, I struggle on, with a cheery smile and a whistle. If only that Thresh would stop ringing me up for tips.

Where's me coat...oh yes missus, 3 for £2.

was getting a bit bored of those bottle neck maps tho. Ive rarely played anything other than CTF seriously since the days of the coloured keys in QW, and maps without at least 2 flag routes just dont work for me (tho the one with the vertical bounces in base is quite fun).

Speccy - you should consider yourself l33t if someone actually notices you don't play Quake anymore .

On the first Quake3 CTF map it was so tempting to just hang around in the middle area with just the gauntlet to get kills all the time, I found Asheron's Call an acceptable alternative. But then being a railgun freak at heart I ended up being an archer.
