Speccing a pac/mend healer

I want to make a pac/mend healer, and I'm not worried about the spec at 50 - what I'd like to know is how to spec along the way, so how should he be speeced at 20, 30, and 40 to maximise his usefulness in PvE?
I'm not too concerned about being effective in BGs along the way - this isn't a BG character. Any thoughts?

just my opinion as a lvl 33 healer


and at lvl50 i don't know yet ..

or

42pac
33mend
left over in aug



i don't know wich one i'll chose yet i'll see, but imo if you go mend/pac, 38 minimum in pac i think, cuz you got both instas AoE mezz and stun at 38pac

44 pac 30/31 mend at 50 if your going mend/pac imo.

Depends if you want pac/mend or mend/pac.
Pac/mend examples are 44 pac 30 mend, 38 pac 36 mend and 48 pac 24 mend. Mend/pac are 40 mend 35 pac or 39 mend 36 pac.

Not quite....

Im 40m/36p for best rez, 2nd spreadheal, insta AE mezz, pom4 as the major outlines of this spec.....btw my aug-buffs suck! fyi kthxbye

3 healer RvR specs I consider to include most "utility value" atm is:

44p/30m
40m/36p
39m/37a

Thanks everyone for the good advice - I ended up ignoring it all and speccing completely pac when I rolled at 20 However, next level I'll start bringing mending up a bit, although to be honest I've not noticed healing being too bad...

38 pac 35 mend 15 aug , feek the last group heal at 36 mend..you will be using spread heal any way... and the run buff and xtra self buff's are nice when you have to go somewhere solo

myabe you do ... i have no idea ... but imo
45 pac ... 29mend ... dregs into aug

everyone wants pom5 when possible ... why settle for less

First spreadheal is at mend 30 .

Pac to 15 for 2nd pox then get mend to 11 or 12 for 1st insta. also should have Aug 5 for run speed and haste1.

My 50 spec is 38pac 33mend 21aug

This gives you Celerity, Decent PoX, Spreadheal, insta 150 range AoE Mezz & Stun, a good base heal, Mainly Redcon Baseline buffs.

Going 48 Pac gives you a 250 Range Insta AoE

well that cowers just about a area 4 times bigger and gets resisted less.

48 pac
gives you a longer AE mezz that again gets resisted less, a longer lasting AE stun that gets resisted less, and pom 5aswell and a better speed debuff.

but sure lets ignore that bit

Celerity is nice..but I would not give up the 75% insta group heal for it..

ideal spec for pac/mend must be 38-44pac 30-33 mend rest aug

Depends if you want the extra duration on the castable ae mez/stun at 44 spec or can make do with 38 pac, or the bigger heal at 33 spec mend, and 1st run buff as well as a couple other wank aug spells.

at 20 i'd go FULL PAC, then to 24 spec mend so you get 13 Mend (first insta). Then.. *Shrug* use charbuilder

im not sure what to spec,i just /level'd a healer and im not sure what my 50 spec will be :<

i want to have decent mezz's and decent heals but no idea which to go for

with 44 pac for last ae mezz is what everybody seems to be going but im afraid going for that will mean when having a jog through mmgO with your group u wont have the chance to stop an try ae mezz because the insta would get resisted :<
but if i go 48,means i only 24 mend,meaning no spread heal

im a sorc.. dont ask how the insta mezz gets on my nerves..

Tbh the insta mezz truely sucks, it´s just there so you can get rid of tanks and casters that tries to damage you, and like a last resort for mezzing. Insta aoe stunn is what makes 48 pac worth it, makes it like stealing candy from kids to cast a normal mezz with twice as long mezz time. Ofc the goal is to not use instas, but with bards casting amnesia and sorceress casting faster and from further range you kind of have to trust the instas.
