Speccing a Minstrel

I'd like to create a Minstrel - how do I spec, what race and where to put additonal 30 pts?

My main minstrel whom I found most efficient:

Race: Highlander
Stats: + 10 str/con/char
Weapon type: Slash

My spec. is: 44 instruments, 40 slash, 28 stealth

- All minstrels argue over spec, choose the one you like

I'd say 44/44/21 instead of 44/40/28, but other than that as kantz says.

I went Highlander with 10str/con/cha and then so far i have gone max instru and slash, not specced anything in stealth and wont until i can use mini dings.

I dont have much experiance only the BG for RVR but i have never needed to or wanted to stealth, i am more of a stalker then speed in mezz/kill then speed away, i will maybe stealth when at a stand off just so the magic users cant target me but that can be done with stealth 1.

Agreeing with Danyan here, I'm respeccing to 45/44/20 (i know the last AE mezz at 45spec SUCKS, but no real reason to lose it just for one more pt in stealth)

A reason to loose it is so you can use the slightly lower level but much lower power cost one if needed. Bear in mind minstrels have to use their highest level spell in a particular line.
