Acording to this it comes as Slash or thrust polearm....Bruiser is a crush polearm....

Indeed, 5 times weve done it with 4-5 peeps and the git aint drops once

Your pulling the harpies he spawned outta the temple right? Daylight kills em, some of the artifacts need stuff like that to be considered successfull encounters e.g. Hermes will not drop his helm (winged helm) if you defeat him without using the harpies to kill him.

Hope this helps, really want spear of the kings myself, its on my "to do" list.

BTW how you guys killing him? We've been getting the doors down with 4 rams so far...... hint hint use ninja raid tactics heheh mwaahahahahahaa

Same tactic, rams and leading harpies outside, but on the few occasions I actually manage to get a group to help me and the encounter is up the bloody thing doesn't drop.

Done it with 4 people without a ram twice now must be leet skills and tactics

ML abilities help tho nudge nudge

You can do the door from the inside or outside take yer pick

Our first group make up without ram was:

1 mincer - runs pwr song
1 arms - Smacking the door for 250-300 per hit leet ML's
1 pally for holding mob and for end chant
1 Infil for erm, erm, er tickling the mob j/k Snakes
2 BB's to look good and gives leet buuffs

Took around 2 hrs

Second time we did it with ram

1 Arms stuck to mob unattended
1 Pally keeping big boy busy
1 Mincer on ram and 30% quicker siege weaponry
1 Cleric
1 x Infil
1 BB

Took around 50-60mins

5th time - No rams

1 mincer - smacks door & runs pwr song
1 arms - Smacking the door for 250-300 per hit leet ML's :worthy:
1 pally - Smacking door and holding mob and for end chant
1 Infil Smacking door
2 BB's to look good and gives leet buuffs

Took around 35-45mins - we used a cunning plan which I cant reveal here
either way still didnt get the spear!!!
