Speakers (mark 2 due to constant bitching :P )

right.

got a new set of speakers (arena 530) managed to plug everything into the bass. 2 wires leading off the bass that plug into meh comp.



one green. one black. what jack do I stick em in?

Plug the green one into the lime coloured socket, aka Line Out. Then plug the black one into the black socket, aka Speaker....you card should support 4.1 speakers systems by using the Line Out and Speaker Out.

heh, almost

the player 1024 has two lineout ports, one marked with a 2-> and one marked 1-> - the 2-> is directly by the joystick port and should be connected with the black wire for rear speakers...

the green wire is connected into the port '1-away' from the joystick port (i.e. next to the one you just plugged the black one into) - make sure you select 4 speakers in either the creative control panel or sounds and multimedia in control panel if you didn't install the creative gubbins...

tanks. turns out back speakers werent working due to the fact i reconfigured something without knowing it. thus comp needed a restart.

Lol what i always do is just test every jack for my headset (1 at a time to see which one works) when i cant be arsed to look at the lil icon of whatever it is heh
