Hi there

I'm thinking of getting some 4.1 surround speakers for my SB PCI 128 card, but I'm not sure if it is a 4 channel card?

It seems to, well at least some versions do and even though it does it doesn't do it very well. How many sockets on the SB128 you have?

You might be better off picking up a Sound Blaster Digital 4.1, dabs.com only charge £12.92 for the OEM version.

It has 3 sockets.

Well from what I can make out, no. The US/Latest version had 4 sockets which included a rear output as well as front.
