Sound Effects

Should there not be some sound effect for when an arrow from a scout/ranger/hunter hits you. Its quite annoying when u have more than half ur health bar gone before u realise u are been attacked. I mean there is a sound when an arrow hits someone(i know this from watching Robin Hood when i was younger)

most people use their eyes and see the sticks in their back but i agree should be a noise would be useful

Im quite sure the race you play are screming some kind of "Urgh" out when getting hit, and you can still see the arrow in our stomach. Also makes it a bit easier to see where the arrows come from ^^

In a situation where i have aggro (df) I am making that urgh sound anyway ..

edit: some of us would rather listen to music that appeals than the elivator sounds of daoc but yeah i see ya point.

Well...i both have ingame sounds and my own music to run. Daoc ingame music sucks :-P

Well, if you want more realism in the game how about a sound effect along the lines of; shooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooook, eurgh, "I am slain!"

i agree on a sound effect when an arrow hit you. but ONLY if the sound will be : YOU GOT WTFPWN'ED or YOUR SCREWED!
