can cap everything with just 99% and easy to get items as u can see i got a MP part in that kit with imbues like a 99% so kinda wasted.

Anyway ur set isnt that great as u can do all stats all ressists hits and +11 body with 99%

my kit isnt that great either but got everything i needed so felt it didnt really matter much.

'wasted' ?

sure, it's expensive in terms of imbue points, which then basically just means it's expensive in terms of cash, or time.

But it's really not 'wasted'. If you can get power for 1 extra spell, then that's good - it's basically 5-10% extra power. Get it if you can get it.


edit: and you really shouldn't advertise a template that's using ROGs. Sure, the ROG will last a fair while, but it's not like anyone can replicate the setup, so it's hardly a 'template'.

Or alternatives to using epic cloak and scureol's belt is

Cloak of Icy Vigor which can be obtained from the Thane in Doden's Gruva, you will require a group or can be done with 2 paladins+cleric, this cloak is 50util which is only 2util lower than oily rags.

Belt of Granite enhancement - Should be able to find it on quite a few CM's

But it's really not 'wasted'. If you can get power for 1 extra spell, then that's good - it's basically 5-10% extra power. Get it if you can get it.


edit: and you really shouldn't advertise a template that's using ROGs. Sure, the ROG will last a fair while, but it's not like anyone can replicate the setup, so it's hardly a 'template'.

Ok maybe not wasted but since he havent capped +body its pretty bad since that is more valuable imo.

I didnt "advertise" a template just showed him mine to backup my argument that with a MP set he could do alot better then what he did or even that he dont even need to buy MP. With all those MP parts he should be able to cap EVERYTHING without any problem at all.

why u using str model of scuceol's belt? and not dex version spare some imbue point..
and why not use gem of spirit abhorrent? it got 2 more in utility and r not quest means if u brook it u can allways get a new!!

focus is capped at your spec, so the difference between having 0 matter focus and 50 matter focus if you're not matter-specced is roughly 6-8% power on your DoT as you really only gain ~10 focus (15 casts instead of 14 on a full powerbar when buffed - not even enough for another cast when unbuffed). And the number of times I have cast that dot in RvR is pretty close to 0 anyway.

shields are not affected by focus, so you gain nothing from the focus when casting those.


edit: I should clarify and say that AF shields are not affected by focus... the Abs shield and BT is though (but the focus is again capped at your spec level, so you're saving 2-3 power every 10mins for abs and 2-3 power each BT )

Cause i got the str version for free and when the thoose items are down i´ll have to make a new set anyway since the MP cloth will have worn out to.

No, +Mind does not do 'sweet fuck all'.

As stated above: Focus is capped at your skill level, thus for a Body Sorcerer with 28 (+RR) Mind he'll be using more power on ST mezz and AE amnesia than if he had 28+11 (+RR) Mind (and the other baseline mind spells that are rarely used).
