Hi All

I am a casual player who has just started on Camlann, like the PvP :), after giving up on ToA on Prydwen (no time).

I have a sorc lvl 23 and a reaver lvl 23.

Not sure which to move forward on ... I like the speed and mezz/lifedrain of the sorc. Especially given the incoming NF was thinking of getting the sorc towards lvl 50.

However the reaver seems to be fun too ... not sure which to go for.

I will be soloing alot ...

What do you guys think ... especially input from people who have 50s of either of the classes on this server would be great !!

Thanks

Grieff

I agree. Go for the sorc mainly, or necro, then start doing chain/plate wearing feckars.

Both are good classes and fun to play. Reaver is quite equipment dependant though so you need money to be effective. Sorcerers are great in both PvE and PvP and can be deadly even in the /level outfit.

You don't really need a necro if you have a sorcerer (sorcs were pre-SI necros). As a reaver you'll need the crafted equipment, no doubt.

I'm not very fond of cloth casters but one thing is sure: if I made a caster it'd be a sorcerer.

Thanks for the heads up ... sorc sounds like a winner for now!!

Now where are the quiet spots that I can lvl in without being killed too often?

Don't know mid or hib well ... ;)

Most of classic and Si are completely empty as long as you stay away from places like the dungeons and possibly Caldey and try and stay away from xp places that are on the beaten tracks.

You should'nt get that to often tbh, alot of the time is far to much trouble to go through just for one kill :D

Yeah, basically don't go to anywhere where necro guides tell you to level.

Yup but there's usally also things like Theurgs, Animists, Mincers etc etc there, or at least I have found that with my Theurg.
