Just watched the latest episode of The Sopranos, things are hotting up very nicely so far.

A major character has just been killed (authorised by Tony), someone who has been in the series since day 1

Quite shocking really, I can't wait to see what happens next.

I am quite gutted however, by the fact that this week, both 24 and Enterprise will reach their season finales

But that means no 24 or Enterprise for at least 10 months.

It does? Don't the seasons all start in late September/early October?

I'm not certain, unless they're already filming now.

I'm not sure about Enterprise but I know that the new season of 24 won't start until January next year

Bloody hell, that's rather lame.

Well, it is the norm for series to start in September/October and end in May the following year. It was like that for buffy/angel/smallville and a whole host of other TV series over in the states. I can't remember when 24 started this season, but I think it was quite a bit later than the rest. I'd imagine Enterprise will start, like most of the others, in September.
