Sooo...now I have two accounts *grin*

Hi all,

I've inherited an empty account from my brother, to go with the brand new account I bought last Friday.

Could I get some advice on what two chars would make a powerful duo given the following criteria:

- Quick at PvE levelling (need to catch up with peeps if possible)
- Useful in RvR (don't really want excellent soloer with no RvR use)
- Decent tradeskillers (good way for me to make some initial cash)
- Not reliant on uber gear (as I don't have any )

I don't really mind which realm (although my heart is probably with Albion).

My original account has a level 10 pally with 250 ish armoursmithing on, so whilst I like him (he's my first char ) I'm not averse to trashing him for the greater good.

If its just you playing two accounts - then a necro (death sight) and cleric (enhancement) has to be the way to go.

Would be very fast to get to 50, and with the changes in 1.69 necro's should be more usefull in RvR. I really dont think you would find any other combination that would be so easy to level, as in play one account while the other is logged in and forgotten.

Although necro's armor does degrade now - aslong as you have a focus staff you should be ok. Necro's can also take up spellcrafting which is a great craft for earning cash, Took me about 11plat to make LGM SC and made 35 plat within a few weeks.

if your looking for fun and a good solid RvR class combo, although not the fastest id recommend one of the following:

Pally / Cleric

Merc / Cleric

can't really go wrong with either, mercs are FOTM atm so always chance to grp if u get bored, also same goes with Pallys, they seem to be always wanted in AC grps etc... so swift levelling from 40-50, andhaving a BB at same level you could always drag him into your own formed AC grps... buff fortehwin and all that!

Yeah, i'd go Merc and cleric, thought if you want real rvr fun go with a infil and cleric

For the fastest PL in Albion you need 1 Matter Cabalist and 1 Smite cleric, both L50, if you have one of these characters and can find someone with another then leveling up is very fast.

Merc and cleric over pally and cleric because there is some overlap with pally and cleric, and merc does more damage than pally ?

Necro & cleric sounds good too, but not sure I want to be stuck playing a cleric as my main RvR char, and necro still seems quite RvR weak.

merc and cleric is good - though you might have more downtime between fights, paladin will let you kill bigger things but will take longer (better defence, worse damage)

Body-Mind Sorcerer & Cleric

That would be a great duo if you cant play active on both accounts. Just get a nice pet, buff him up and you'll end up chain killing oj's non-stop . Btw dont put all your points in mind cause you wont be able to solo efectively then. You just need mind for the power regen if you want to solo, so check the character builder to figure for yourself which power regen you want to get at what lvl. POM1 lasts ok till lvl 20, POM2 is good till lvl 30-32 POM3 is ok till lvl 42-44 and after that you would want POM4.

If you wanna play hib, enchanter/bard or enchanter/mentalist combo is great too . And if you would like to play mid, prob. go for bonedancer/healer or bonedancer/shaman or savage/shaman . But mid stinks tbh so dont go there

For Hib:
[Good Safe Chainpull-Leveling] Bard+Tank [Level fastest with champ as he has his own str/con, but if you want to go rvr better go Hero or Blademaster.

For Alb:
I prefer Chainpulling, so here i would prolly go Enhancement Cleric + Paladin.
Or Enhancement Cleric + Deathsight Necro.

For Mid:

No doubt here, Aug Shaman + Savage/Zerker, might be the best combo as you will be leveling a RvR char and doing it extremely well.

id stick with Zerker cos savages are weak when it comes to downtime, and id take a PF Zerk over a sav anyday of the week in a good RvR grp.. plus u get carebear mode!! and ive always had a liking for slamming 2 axes sideways into someone i like the way zerks attack, looks nice! for zerk def

can't really argue with the snare back style on hammer and lower end use!

friar + pala

by far the best melee duo in albion. Friar does uber dmg, pala takes uber dmg, friar has kick ass base buffs, both have end regen, pala guards friar. nuff said imo

Remmeber here the guy is asking about 2 accounts with one user, for this reason alone the cleric-necro is going to be the most viable, all other combinations here would require alot more taskwapping the two DAOC clients.

Generaly tho, any class played with a cleric should be ok, so level the toon you would want to play in RvR
