Sony Vegas and other video editing

Anyone know any good guides for video editing? I'm really wanting to learn how to do it well but can't seem to find any relaly indepth guides that are new user friendly.

Vegas is really easy to use once you get into it - I wish I still had my multimedia assignment, that would've helped you quite a bit I think, I cant find it though

The best idea is to just mess about and see what you come up with, after a few attempts you'll start to get the hang of it.

What sorts of things are you looking for help on?

You should check out a guy named Montagical on youtube.. he has some nice sony vegas guides

Vegas is piss easy to use. Timeline at bottom, drag and drop everything you want basically.

It's good to get used to the Edit Media FX window for stuff like making effects happen at certain points in the film etc.
The Audio tools arent that amazing though I dont think.

Adobe Premier or the Pinnacle software whatever version that is at now. Both easy to use and very powerful.
