And I have had experience with an infil, which must count for something, yes they are not same class, but yes they have SOME similarities.

Logged on for about 5-10 mins but wasn't in the mood and played my zerker forra little while. Packing the game in very soon i hope so these are my dying moments really so you won't see me in Thid much if at all now.

So many people in Thid now use buff bots, a couple of months ago I'd have five or six duels and maybe one person would be buffed, in the last two weeks I've not killed anyone who didn't drop a whole heap of buffs.
If I was going to re-roll my druid I'd be tempted to obtain a 2nd account to just be able to play fair. The only upshot of not having a seperate buff bot is that when you kill someone who is botted it's quite a buzz

Buffs
Well it brought home to me how buffs affect alts when i duelled with Certifiable at level 47 and again at 50.
After levelling all the time buffed i realized i had never played him without buffs. My fighting techniques were based on the buffs. My timing was only good when i had buffs etc.
At 47 i duelled a TOA twinked level 50 SB who was up a few levels. She was unbuffed and i was fully buffed - guess wot Certi killed her.
Next duel was when Certi was 50 and the one i was gonna duel insisted no buffs on both of us. I was not used to this at all cos as i previously mentioned i had never been unbuffed. When the fight started i thought my computer had locked cos Certi was so slow . I honestly thought that after swinging my first hit i had ld'd i was that slow compared to being buffed. I lost that fight as you can imagine cos the other SB was a very good one with a high realm rank.
I mean just looking at str - goes from 170-180 something to over 300 with buffs and the same gains occur for all your stats. An unbuffed SB against a buffed SB with similar skills will never win wotever they try.

Wasn't gonna post anymore but i will enlighten you if you want. Infact you might be able to pick up something that will help you play this game.
If you have read some of my postings (been far too much lately for sure) you would have picked up that i am a computer technician. This has helped me run DAOC infact in a manner that is about as good as it gets. 2 DAOC accounts on 2 seperate base units that are networked but are controlled through a KVM switch box. I only use one keyboard, mouse and monitor and can switch between buffbot and main player instantly with no delay. On one base unit i am Thugs and on the Main i am MKJ for Freddysworld. Came about cos i lost my password on one account so i created another. Running a backup on the lost password baseunit solved that eventually. Whichever base unit i use i log in on that name to Freddysworld now - MKJ or Thugs.
If you want to run 2 accounts perfectly so that people are unaware you are infact one person operating 2 accounts then consider the above - 2 base units - kvm switch box - a usb data link cable. Buffbot account does not have to be a very fast base unit cos you can run that one at 800x600 to speed things up. Enables great control and instant response to both accounts which is nothing like running 2 accounts on one computer.
