Something that pisses me off.

Was at amgO 2 nights ago, fighting a Hero, he used IP and he went moose on me. And i was on 90% hits, then along comes 1 fg of albs and nukes me to bits. And what happens, the hero bows to the albs and they let him run off.

If i see anything similar ever happen i will post screens and names here, its not the first time this has happen.

I once fought a skald and he messed me and along came rambo and PA'd me while still messed...waved to the skald and ran off...it happens the ohter way around allso, and what is screens gonna do ?

Dancing and waving at each other is fine
when i have thought I could not take and enemy I have often waved or danced with them..

but both those cases sound like cross realming using IRC or some other chat program...

But you cant tell the first could have been friends in RL or something that have agreed not to fight each other..

Almost impossible to prove Cross realming.. I will join in fights of albs vs hibs then if i think I can take the enemy left I will attack if not I wave and leggit

But I know only 3 people in other realms on prydwen and then not very well and would attack them anyway out of fun

hehe its no big deal get over it its annoying sure but hey ive helped/tried to help other realm people when odds are against them and left them not very often but it just seems nasty to finish someone on low life after fighting with em lol

try seeing the thanks you get for helping mids when they pull too much in DF the game and people are weird and react differently, on more than one occassion in Uppland ive just left someone to run right past me and not even give them a second thought, whether its because they are low con or because i just beat them 5minutes ago and know i could easily beat them if they tried anything. and a full group of mids have run straight through me before to chase a couple of hibs. although i doubt that'll happen again, i guess they missed me in the confusion, anyone using the new name colours will know right away now.

The thing is, this is a game.

Friendships are built, and not only in your own realm.

Through the DAoC community and its numerous forums, you get to know members of opposing realms.

Sometimes if you see them solo, and you have the option, you don't kill them, you /flirt with them (if you're that way inclinded ), /dance, or the like. If I was to see solo the likes of Melgar, Blejs, Coren, or any of the other big names I have grown to know, I would do my best to not allow them to die, whether it be at the hands of a member of another realm I don't know/not familiar with, or from members of my own realm.

Other times, I will try my best to kill them, depends on the mood, circumstances, etc.

Many times have I had a fg of hibs in Odins and I just barely stopped them from killing people like Coren, Melgar etc, and we messed around. Many times have we done joint 4am, 6 people attempts on Bledmeer when owned by the other realm, and most of these have NOT been arranged over IRC.

Remember, it's a game, you are meant to enjoy it with friends, no matter what realm they are in. Sometimes NOT killing someone can be fun.

It's a game, the point is to have fun, not kill everyone you see (though that can be fun too, but sometimes boring).

Don't get me wrong, many times have the above names killed me, and many times have I killed them as Usp or helped kill them as Neverending, but after this there is always the usual /kiss with Never, or /wave or /salute with Usp, just to say hi and that you have noticed/been noticed.

I have built up alot of respect for alot of people in the other realms over the past 14 months, and, at the end of the day, we are a community which I hope will continue for a long time (even with the petty bickering, name calling and whining, alot of which I participate in I admit, but that's all part of it).

i'm sickened that albs helped the hibby rather than the mid

The ones that have been arranged over IRC that I have been part off were at about 4am, with 50 people on the server.

We had nothing to do at that time (and this is like last Arpil btw) since there was about 2 Hibs, 2 Albs and 46 Mids.

So messing around at amgE was fun

'Cross-realming' as you put it of this kind is actually what this game is about: fun.

I have the screens Like NP zerging after the mid bait did his job ? Bah dont care at all, thats the game.

Coop at amgO this week have been there alot and have seen nothing of it, just 3 realm warfare, where everyone hit everyone. To me its the only way if albs charge thru amg, sure all will give them full attention, dont want them to mezz all mids/hibs and have all the fun.
