I lately expierienced players who seem to be able to reset their realm ability timers to have permanent access to those RAs... I'm not gonna tell names nor incidents because I havent got any feedback about my report from GOA yet. I am just wondering if anyone expierienced something alike.

If you're on about purge, you can use it as many times as you want, until you dispell a negative effect.

Nope, I am not. I am about RA's that actualy DO something when used and are on a rather long timer like 30 minutes and 10 minutes in my case. These RA's were in permanent use at the incident I expierienced/reported.

well, why not describe the incident without mentioning names? that at least you can get an explanation.. i'm growing tired of players constantly being called haxors by other players who don't understand all the nuances of the game.

The reason for not describing the incident is easy. My logs were poor and I dont want to screw up GOA's chances to catch the guy.

If I now say I noticed a cleric permanentl using BoF or a chanter with permanent MoC then the guy might actually recognize himself and stop using the trick.

Not understanding every classes abilities doesn't make you a noob, hence me not calling you one You can play since beta, but still only thoroughly understand the classes from your main realm.

But, if you're not going to supply details, then the question is begged: why post? If anyone had experienced anything similar, it'll only be in the generic sense with the (deliberate) vagueness of your initial post.

Nightchill you can be sure that I know the abilities of the class I was facing because it got the same abilities as one of the classes I am playing for a quite long time already.

The guy was using a "1 shot in 10 minutes" ability to permanently attack people. Aswell as he was using a "xx seconds once in 30 minutes" ability over a period of several minutes.

@Mattshanes: Sounds disturbing. Thou I think Mythic should implement a way to allow players to play arround with RA's to see wich they like and wich not.

Heh i do not use it or ever will,to be honest i have no clue to do so... though a person posted this on our site(i can't say name as it will be unfair).As for someone using moc multiple times,you sure it wasn't a buffbotted enchanter?they can cast like machine gun turrets though it wouldn't surprise me if someone is upto those things you mentioned.

By the way that thread was removed to too.(which was a good idea to stop people spoiling the game)

Also YES there should be realm respecs unlimited to a player maybe once a week or so..... these respec stones cause too much arguing.

No this person did not use it,it shows who has been using this programme on their site and the person was not listed.

If i still remembered the site i would tell a mod of it but it got deleted it seemed quite quickly about a month ago.

Its sad but the cheating seems to be more and more, I notice that more and more people are using that lag trick.

All its gonna do is drive people like me who just want to play a game fairly away cos Im getting real fed up with it.

Jeri tbh you shouldn't have posted what you did cos you should have expected these types of replies, just let GOA investigate and see what is found, can't do much beyond that.

Whenever anyone accuses someone else of abusing the CoC the accused's entire realm hops into the Defence Attorney's bed.

Yes, i tihnk this happened to me the other day

Had a fight vs albs at levin hill in emain, am almost 100% sure i used inst mez at the start of the fight, druid was getting deaded at one point and i was gettin hit, so used am(amorlating melodies). Chanter got killed, res'ed and used mcl2. Fight lasted about 1/2 mins mabe. After we deaded them, moved to hill side just round corner to rest, 30 secs mabe getting there, but when checked my cast bars to c if had used purge, all other ra's where still up.

Can understand mcl been up, perhapes fight had been longer than though, but am pretty certain i'd used inst mez and am, and still had them rdy.

Dont have log or anythin, but and sure somthin went wrong.

i once used my 30 minute RA on some mobs in emain by accident (CD... the insta-ae-dot one) and then five minutes later after a quick relog it was ready again, only ever happened once tho and although i tried to do it again multiple times i never managed to reset the timer like that again ...

btw its a really shit RA so i respecced out of it

I had to waste MoC earlier today in Emain because I started shooting a spiritmaster than a cliff beetle started chewing on my robe. Anyway having dealt with them both a shaman then came and killed me. Wish I knew how to reset MoC
