Something Different.....

Hey,
Decided to do something 'different' and make a GS raid.

This will be a 1FG signup raid.

If some of you don't know, GS (Grand Summoner) is a high level mob in the center of where the 3 frontier dungeons merge into the Halls of Corrupt. Can be done with 1FG, but requires hard work, however since ToA and the introduction of FoP etc. will be slightly easier, and will be planning to do All 4 GS'es.

When : Sunday 27th June.
Time : 6PM GMT
Place : Castle Sauvage
Requirements : Level 50 only. High RR + ML if possible.
Loot : Respecs will be FFA, other loot only for usable class. May roll for an alt if wanted.

GS takes forever with 1fg. Better go with 2 if you're planning on completing the raid in one evening I quote from allakhazam: "He isn't harder then Legion. still takes a long time to kill though. 43 people took close to 30 minutes to kill him."

Took about 30-45 mins with 1 fg pre ToA....

With powerfield be a walk in the park most likely

Have done G.S. with 1 fg, in under 30 mins, np, and we got attacked by a fg of hibs whilst doing it, and wiped them whilst still on the summoner. The key is High Level Earth Pets, to lower resistance to melee. Did this pre- FoP days, should be ALOT easier now.

Suppose we Mids gotta include Theurgist spot in our GS raid lineups and ask nicely one to come

89 shield / 62 parry armschick
ML10 perfector Cleric with strong smiting skillz
50 earth theurgist with strong earth lord spam


i would only go for 1 ML5 perfector cleric + friar setup imo if you are using a theurgist. GS only does ~600 damage

better bring friar then minstrel on this

why wud mids/hibs see?? you only posted it on a public forum about a raid in an rvr place

but goodluck and hope no mids/hibs ruin the party (if they have to then go mids! )
