SOMEONE HELP ME PLZ

i was just getting into playing freeze tag but now we have to use the 127 patch i cant get in anymore i have 127 g and h patches its says error:client/server game mismatch:baseq3-1/ if that helps anyone to no why i cant get in then plz reply and tell me what i have to do
btw iam not the brains of britain so could any give a step by step guide to how to resolve this problem

Delete the speed dll's in baseq3

it worked for me

think i saw a post about 2 of the mod servers going back to 1.17 , not sure if ft was one of them, if i see the post i will copy it here ok

i had the same problem,nice to know ur dont alone huh!!

right i tryed to copy my install of 1.17 to another folder then patch it with 1.27,ie:have 2 copyes of quake 1 for 1.17 and 1 for 1.27......this gave me the same error u r recieving....solution...........!!!

leave ur install of 1.17 well alone k!

reinstall quake to another folder say called QuakeIII 1.27, then patch it with 1.27g,,then again with 1.27h..donot copy any mods over from ur 1.17 install, maps and configs r fine copy those over no probs..then ensure downloads r on in quake and connect to ur favorite server the mods will download and this should solve ur problem (well it solved mine,hope this helps)

P.S THE SERVER IS SHIT SINCE ITS BEEN UPGRADED(SCOFF)SO U AINT MISSED MUCH,16 PLAYERS NO VOTING AND 1.27 SATAN PATCH BAHHH!!!!!!!
