Some spiritmaster questions

Hi all

Just a couple of spiritmaster questions tonight :>

Firstly - what is the best RvR quick kill (maybe with pet?) spec there is? I'm kind of making a summ SM and one day hope to be ML9, so was learning all about focus pulling this afternoon against relatively weeny mobs.

Now in RvR with the same spec - I do "alright" but I'm thinking that it might be worth speccing to something more RvR related until I get to RR5 or something, then I can go back to being a Summ SM and have nice toys.

Secondly - what can you do if a Merc is charging you down? I had quite a few instances where I was running pretty fast, but the Merc was way faster and he was teamed with an armsman - and I swear it was like being chased by a skald on mach speed :>
Can you do anything against charge or do you just have to face the consequences?
Even sending the pet to him did nothing really.

Any help appreciated.

summ really sux in rvr, exept for stealthers that PA the pet while focus is up ^^.

either dark specc with lifetap if u plan to run solo, and maybe moc and u'll have a chance vs the merc if he doesnt succeed with a stun, or Supp spec if u plan to run in bomb grps, Moc + supp + stormlord ml9 is a deadly combo, especially if u are around 2-3 of then in a grp with nice healers, and more of theese casters needed in keep fights, very nice rps and killspamm, me and grawen was in such a group when we took the alb relic, top 2 on kills and 100k rps atleast that day. As supp spec (49 supp) you get a 40+?% combatspeed debuff that is nice vs meleers, so you have to hope on a pet intercept and pbae, or if ur darkspecc (47 dark 26 supp imo), u get a lil bit worse combatspeed debuff, but should be enough. All rely on how fast u are with lifetapping before he reaches you, you could hope on intercept and lifetap til his charge is gone, and quickcast pbaemezz, (since all lame tanks runs through you and get out of sight). But since they got banelord abilities that fu*ks ur castspeed for an eternity, i would concider moc, but you dont see any solo mercs, so it could be a waste too. mumbling here, 6:30 and havnt gone to bed yet, hope you find anything in what ive written that could be of any use.. p.s. If you need any hints with that focus training, just give me a PM ingame to someone in my sig... and i think Darkspecc is ur choice, with passive ra abilities to begin with, moc3 on lowrealm rank is a waste since your basedmg gets lowered to much. And dont waste ras on mcl, use champ staff and jacinas and some powerpots and ur fine. Fastest kill must be, ml9 pet that succeds with a stun, while ur pbaeing, safest quickkill is lifetap, since its in specline u can do about 500-700 dmg with it, 2-3 shot casters easy if ur in range. tanks is like black and white, some are really skilled, and some can just /qtd and go to bed.(<-- speeking of that? )

Also I tried to kill some knights in DF yesterday for the brief time we had it, in the room on the left as you go down to the hulks.
I managed to kill the red con mobs to get some mlxp for next weeks raids, but the purple guy Gatekeeper Dommel? totally killed me with ease. Is there an easy way to kill him? I hit him with the focused pet and he chewed me up and the healers in no time and I think I made no damage on him whatsoever

ML9 and ur fine mostly, the thing is to get him aggro on the pet, so it can do some damage to it with focus before you start healing, else it will be messy.
